Located just north of the West Oakland area, Longfellow is nestled in between Temescal Creek to the north and 36th Street/Interstate 580 to the south. The Longfellow neighborhood features a variety of real estate architecture and floorplan options, including multi-family investment homes and standalone single family homes. Although this neighborhood is primarily residential, the easy access to highways, a BART Station and bus stations provides plenty of options to explore everything Oakland has to offer.
One of the most unique landmarks of Longfellow is the Oakland Military Academy, which sits at the heart of the neighborhood. This academy provides a seven-year college preparatory program which begins at 6th grade all the way to high school graduation.
